StoryGold is an AI startup based in San Francisco, focused on merging design and automation in the jewelry manufacturing industry. We're looking for a software engineer contractor to help us train our state-of-the-art AI models through high-quality code generation. This role offers the unique opportunity to work directly with world-class AI researchers, and is ideal for an early-career engineer interested in learning about AI and gaining industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate high-quality, valid, diverse code samples for our dataset to use in training our AI models for CAD generation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Recent computer science graduate or early-career software engineer.
• Understanding of software engineering best practices, algorithms, and data structures.
• Interest in AI/ML and desire to contribute to cutting-edge foundation model training.
• Self-starter and ability to learn new programming languages quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to code quality and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• 3D modeling experience is a plus.

Additional Information

• This is a contract position paying $20/hour with flexible hours.
• Fully remote work with flexible scheduling to accommodate other commitments.
